Esther Ho is the founder and executive director of the Integration Youth Services Society. Esther who immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 1995 is educated and trained in social work and has been working on behalf of her community since her arrival.
Esther developed Vancouver’s first Chinese children’s theater program the Mustard Seed Children’s Theater. She is a commentator for Fairchild Radio, and writes a weekly column for a Chinese newspaper. Besides her youth services in Vancouver, she is also actively involved in projects to rebuild schools in China.
Her work for the community was recognized when she was awarded the British Columbia Community Achievement Award in 2006 and the Nova Star Award from Richmond Volunteer Information Service in 2004. Esther is also an accomplished author having published her first book, Ideal Parents in 2009.

The Integration Youth Services Society is a non-profit society dedicated to serving young people and their families in the City of Richmond. Through education, personal growth, community outreach and recreational activities the society teaches youth how to better serve themselves and their community.
By promoting self-awareness the society encourages personal growth in the young people it serves. By helping these youth to discover their potential they will become stronger leaders in their community. to date the society has served over 40,000 young people.
The society provides several services including the Mustard Seed Theater, Canadian Youth Drug Free Program, Youth Production Team and Dialogue Club and the Personal Growth Yunnan Experience Program.
